"We were charged £120.50 for the two journeys, and were told that we would receive a £20 rebate as a Mercedes was not available for the first journey. The pick up from Abbey Road did not arrive on time and after being held on the phone for twenty minutes was told that Stallion cars did not have a record of the booking. They did manage to get us a car which was half an hour late and the driver who was very good managed to get us to the airport in time for our flight. otherwise we would have had to forfeit our holiday. The return pick up was not a meet and greet. We had to ring again and was told that the driver was waiting outside, but again it was not a Mercedes. As neither journey was as paid for I believe we should have some compensation."

Eventually got someone to answer the phone and was told no record of the booking. Eventually the booking was found - which was no surprise as had received a telephone call the night before to confirm the booking. Not at all impressed with the level of service and will definitely not be using Stallion cars again!!"

I used many taxi's to Nottingham town centre in the past and normally they all charge about £10 - £12 and because I pre-book it, I get in and they take me to the detitanation. This is most expensive taxi ever to town and then you add a SMS booking charge as well, costing me a total of £18.50. Complete rip off. Then when I got it, the driver wants to know where I am going? The information is on the booking. "

So, not only was I charged 41% more than the actual cost of the journey by the website, I had to pay the driver the actual cost on top of that. Together, a journey that could have cost less than £8 cost me more than £20. I feel completely ripped off and will complain and expect a refund."

However , I have to say I was disappointed by your service today , (3rd August)on returning to EastMidlands airport. I was expecting to be greeted by your driver at 3.00pm as booked, as i was travelling with an elderly relative. There seemed to be a mix up with flight times for the return flight ,by your dispatcher, even though i had asked for the times and highlighted outwards and inbound flight numbers. This meant a call to your service number and 1/2 wait. This is the first time i have used this type of transfer service as i usually use the MEET & GREET SERVICE at the airport . Not sure i would use you again. "

"Our driver was over 45 minutes late, after booking the car over 4 hours in advance. I rang when the driver was 5 minutes late and was told he would arrive in 10 minutes. If I had not been lied to then we would have been able to re-book with another company, and would have made our train. As it was, we missed our train to Heathrow and were forced to buy new tickets at £130. I rang and made a complaint the same day and was told I would receive a call back. This complaint has still not been acknowledged. I expect Stallion cars to compensate me for the cost of the train tickets, and if I do not receive acknowledgement of this complaint I will be referring this issue to consumer affairs. All in all, disgraceful customer service."

"The journey to Newark Train Station: The driver had been smoking in the taxi Exceeded the speed limit considerably on the A46. Return Journey: Train delayed driver called. I apologised and asked if he could wait for us we would only be another 10 minutes. He was then going to start his meter (for a pre paid journey), I told him 'where to go', at which point he started screaming at me down the phone so I hung up. We were then left to find a taxi on Friday afternoon which as you can imagine took some time. Apart from that what else could you improve on???"
