I was then asked by the controller how much I had prepaid for the return journey. I would have preferred not to have this inconvenience on New Years Eve as I had prepaid specifically to avoid having to deal with taxi operators on New Years Eve I feel that the total cost was disproportionate to the distance and mileage. I would not use LongEaton again from Novotel"

Fortunately the couple at the rearranged first booking saw the coach and flagged him dow. In the end, no big deal. The driver was punctual for the return journey as well."

"Driver was 15 minutes late. However, the worst part of this service is that the taxi company did not receive any payment from the website. So, not only was I charged 41% more than the actual cost of the journey by the website, I had to pay the driver the actual cost on top of that. Together, a journey that could have cost less than £8 cost me more than £20. I feel completely ripped off and will complain and expect a refund."

"I was happy with your pick up service from my home on the 27th July as the driver was on time and really helpful. However , I have to say I was disappointed by your service today , (3rd August)on returning to EastMidlands airport. I was expecting to be greeted by your driver at 3.00pm as booked, as i was travelling with an elderly relative. There seemed to be a mix up with flight times for the return flight ,by your dispatcher, even though i had asked for the times and highlighted outwards and inbound flight numbers. This meant a call to your service number and 1/2 wait. This is the first time i have used this type of transfer service as i usually use the MEET & GREET SERVICE at the airport . Not sure i would use you again. "

If I had not been lied to then we would have been able to re-book with another company, and would have made our train. As it was, we missed our train to Heathrow and were forced to buy new tickets at £130. I rang and made a complaint the same day and was told I would receive a call back. This complaint has still not been acknowledged. I expect Stallion cars to compensate me for the cost of the train tickets, and if I do not receive acknowledgement of this complaint I will be referring this issue to consumer affairs. All in all, disgraceful customer service."

"1. No one turned up at scheduled time, rang up to find out no taxi has been scheduled. 2. The closest taxi driver were assigned to come but of course by then it was > 15mins late. 3. Was told would not drop us off at the airport unless we pay extra £3 4. We had no choice but to pay the hidden charge as the taxi was already late (not drivers fault) AND was told will drop us of at long stay (15mins away) if we do not pay £3 to be dropped off at the airport "

This was disappointing considering we booked weeks ago and the taxi company had plenty of time to research the location of the venue. They also showed up in a traditional black cab, which could have seated 7 passengers, not just 6. Had I known an alternative vehicle was coming, I could have provided a lift for another friend in need."

"The driver was over 10 minutes late, yet no discount was offered. This was disappointing considering we booked weeks ago and the taxi company had plenty of time to research the location of the venue. They also showed up in a traditional black cab, which could have seated 7 passengers, not just 6. Had I known an alternative vehicle was coming, I could have provided a lift for another friend in need."
